Team Irritation (Is It Me or Them?)
I'm irritated today. I actually know that it's me and not them (ok mostly me, somewhat them), but I feel a little like taking it out on them. I don't think I was finished sorting things out in my head with regards to Gavin just yet.
Owen was supposed to be on car pool duty and come see me this morning. His wife changed the plans and he couldn't get out. I really was looking forward to seeing him and I really hate that she controls when I get laid. As I put on FB, I understand that's the ails of fucking a married man, but I was still irritated by it today.
Gavin came home late last night. He called me on the way home from the airport and said he wanted to come see me today. He called a little while ago and said he was coming over this afternoon. I was out doing things with Chloe and said I'd be home in about 20 minutes. By the way, he dropped another "Love you, bye" at the end of our phone call. I idiotically replied "Ok, whatever...bye". Um, emotional issues much?? Clearly, I'm an emotional retard but I don't want to start saying "love you" at the end of our phone calls, it's too much right now. If she really leaves, ok...but not until that's done. Plus Chloe was with me and soaking in every word I said.
He was planning to come over before we got home and indulge his porn addiction, which irritated me in the first place. Then he got stuck in traffic and tried to convince me to stop at the store or something so he could indulge in said addiction because he'd just gotten there when I called to say we were on the way. That further irritated me. It's MY house and I'm coming home whenever the fuck I want to. So we get home, he comes over and kisses me when Chloe goes in her room and then he hangs out for literally like 3 minutes and says he has to go sell the gf's truck since she's leaving (I'm still doubtful, but whatever). I was irritated that he even bothered to come over in the first place. What was the freaking point of that?
He said he'd be back later, but I kinda hope not. I'm looking forward to dinner with Chloe and then a Mad Men marathon in my bed with my crabby self and a bottle of wine. I would like to get laid today, but honestly I think I'd rather just play with a toy and be done.

Jules, I'm almost done with Season 3! I stayed up until 2am one night and fell asleep on my laptop! As for Gavin, his behavior is quite weird. I can't say I've ever stopped over at someone's house for 3 minutes. Not sure what to make of that.
ReplyDeleteDon't start the "I love you" thing at the end of the calls, just don't. If you stop saying it, he'll freak out, and if you forget to say it, he'll do what my wife does, which is call back to add it on. Bloody annoying it is.
